Senior Billing & AR Representative

Position SummaryResponsible for executing order processing, billing, and collections in addition to reporting on key metrics to the Director of Finance & Accounting. 

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Order processing including reviewing sales orders, verifying documentation (contracts, purchase orders, etc.), processing orders from the quoting/order system (CPQ) into the accounting package (Microsoft Dynamics), and maintaining accurate and correct electronic records.
2. Billing of annual software maintenance including verification of customer contact, sales tax, and billing information to deliver quotes well in advance of maintenance expiration.
3. Collection of invoice payments including follow-up with customers via telephone and e-mail to ensure remittance is secured in a timely manner, properly updating customer data in PKWARE databases, processing credits/cancellations as approved, and preparing and maintaining required reports.
4. Generate and analyze relevant reports on established key metrics.

Requirements

1. Minimum five years of accounts receivable and collections experience.
2. Experience with Salesforce.com or similar CRM preferred.
3. Experience with developing and implementing standard operating procedures and best practices.
4. Associates or Bachelors degree preferred.
