Our client is a leading international supplier and value-added service provider in the consumer electronics industry. The company conducts business through subsidiaries and other markets in mobile and consumer electronics, domestically and internationally. They also function as an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) supplier to a wide variety of customers, through several distinct distribution channels.

The company was already familiar with PKWARE and was confident in our solutions as a result of our experience and longevity in the marketplace. Although the company’s primary need was digital signature capabilities, they also recognized the benefits of data encryption and the added security it would provide. The company purchased SecureZIP for Windows desktop and i5/OS midrange system.

The company leveraged Verisign as the certificate authority to facilitate digital signing at PKWARE’s recommendation. They also appreciated SecureZIP’s email integration capabilities provided in the desktop environment, and, most importantly, the ability to place many digitally signed files into a single secure container, in both the i5/OS and Windows desktop environments.
