7Zip vs SecureZIP
On a Windows computer, both 7Zip and SecureZIP will zip and unzip files. But just compressing files is no longer enough, especially if your files contain sensitive information.SecureZIP secures your files in two powerful ways that 7Zip simply can’t: 3DES passphrase encryption, and the ability to encrypt with X.509 digital certificates which eliminates the need to use passphrases when exchanging documents with others. Protect yourself from identity theft, data breaches, and other malicious attacks that put your sensitive information at risk.
Unlike 7Zip, SecureZIP Standard integrates with Microsoft Office. This means that you can save Windows files directly from Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft PowerPoint in a zip file format. With SecureZIP Standard you can also send a secure email from Windows Mail, Microsoft Outlook, or Outlook Express with a click of the mouse. Again, you simply can’t do that with 7Zip.
