Marketing Operations Manager

Location:  Milwaukee, WI

In this role, you will lead the Marketing Operations functional area within the Marketing team. This is one of seven functional groups within Marketing that works in parallel with Demand Generation, Field, Brand, Content, Web, and Partner Marketing. The Marketing Operations Manager will serve an integral role on our team as we scale our programs and look to enhance the go-to-market process for marketing initiatives.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Supporting the marketing team via communication of strategy, supporting technology, and continuous automation of programs
  • Ownership of the marketing technology stack, motions associated with it, and the recommendation of new tools when necessary
  • Partnering with demand generation to optimize lead flow and management of campaigns
  • Ownership of marketing automation list creation and management, form creation and troubleshooting, lead stages and scoring, campaign setup and execution, nurture sequences/workflows, and integration to other platforms
  • Partnering with other internal teams, such as IT, Sales Operations, Commercial/Enterprise Sales to ensure internal processes are adhered to and improved with the ultimate goal of conversion optimization

 

Required Qualifications

To ensure success in this role, it is imperative the candidate possess the following experience and qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from a 4-year college/university with a relevant degree
  • 4+ years in a Marketing Operations role (preferably at a software company for at least some or the majority of the time)
  • Deep understanding of marketing technology stack, processes, and the importance of data hygiene within a company
  • Advanced expertise managing marketing automation platforms, primarily HubSpot and Pardot, building campaigns and templates, preferably with experience migrating from one platform to another
  • Proficiency within ABM platforms, such as DemandBase and holistic understanding of the underlying strategic structure
  • Advanced Salesforce knowledge, including building reports, as well as an understanding of where data resides, how it syncs and object structure, preferably as an admin and including experience with the Salesforce deployment lifecycle in a SFDX DevOps environment
  • Intermediate understanding of sales enablement tools such as SalesLoft, including building cadences and managing the Salesforce integration
  • Experience with application integration tools such as Zapier
  • Comprehension of working with web data within Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager
  • Familiarity with tools such as DRIFT, Bizible and Asana
  • 2+ years’ experience building dashboards and data visualizations, Tableau experience is a plus
  • Microsoft 365 suite competency; advanced experience with Excel
  • Experience with attribution and/or marketing reporting platforms
