As Atakama’s Multifactor Encryption (MFE) solution approaches its end-of-life in February 2026, PKWARE and Atakama have partnered to ensure a smooth and secure transition for MFE customers.

Under this partnership, Atakama customers will benefit from the familiar encryption capabilities they rely on today through the PK Protect Platform. In addition to encryption, PKWARE’s advanced data protection includes automated data discovery to identify sensitive data across the enterprise, smart data classification to label and govern data usage in real time, and automated redaction to securely use and share data.
