Finance/Accounting Opportunities

The Senior Financial Analyst will help support the Accounting team in our growing business. We are looking for someone who is up for the challenge of integrating systems and processes as we expand our investments. This role will take ownership of new reporting requirements and adding efficiencies to allow the operations to scale with the growth of the business. Duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Performing month end close process, including account reconciliation, accruals, amortization, and associated journal entries for multiple global entities
  • Analyzing balance sheet and profit and loss statements for variances against budget and prior year
  • Creating timely and accurate monthly consolidated financial reports for internal use as well as reports for the Board of Directors and investors
  • Assisting in creation of annual budget and forecasting for all entities
  • Reporting and analyzing company metrics including ARR, churn, revenue trends, etc.
  • Conduct ad-hoc reporting and analysis as requested by management to assist in decision making and review business performance
  • Continuously and proactively review systems and processes to streamline and add efficiencies

Required Qualifications

To ensure success in this role, it is imperative the candidate possess the following experience and qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) from an accredited four-year college or university, preferably in Finance or Accounting
  • Two to three years’ experience in an Accounting or other financial reporting function
  • Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to communicate financial and accounting data clearly and concisely with individuals at all levels of the company

PKWARE seeks a Partner Marketing Manager with an understanding of industry trends, market drivers, and go-to-market dynamics, as well as experience creating and implementing global partner marketing plans in the software industry. The Partner Marketing Manager will be responsible for helping to develop PKWARE’s onboarding, engagement, and go-to-market efforts for resellers as well as channel and technology partners, including market definition, growth strategy, and expansion plans for designated partnerships.

The Partner Marketing Manager will develop external positioning and messaging, collateral, PRM development/management, and internal channel communications. This role will also lead the development of integrated marketing programs and campaigns that drive demand in the field. He/she will also assist with developing partnership onboarding and loyalty programs.

This position works with key stakeholders in sales, marketing, product management, finance, and business development to ensure the value propositions for both channel partner strategies and technology partnership integrations are properly positioned, and new business opportunities are optimized.

Essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to define and document content needs for partner programs and take the lead on creation, including digital, email marketing, blogs, newsletters, short-form videos, event collateral, etc.
  • Assist with strengthening persona development, product positioning, competitive positioning, campaign design and development, as resulted to partners.
  • Develop and roll out new joint integrated marketing campaigns to generate demand and meet pipeline objectives for partners, including webinars, conferences, and regional events, based on partner-specific strategy, industry trends, customer feedback, and corporate marketing initiatives.
  • Curate, build, and distribute partner newsletters and drive meetings/calls with strategic partners to ensure they are aware, educated, and engaged with programs.

  • Support PKWARE at partner and industry conferences, including strategic development of joint initiatives such as production of co-branded materials, webinars, presentations, and co-hosted events.
  • Help maintain partner marketing tools and allocate/manage partner marketing funds (MDF).
  • Plan and track the budget for partner marketing related activities and report ROI to leadership teams.
  • Develop KPIs, measure the results of activities, and report them to channel partners, marketing, sales and leadership.

Experience

Manage the Solution Engineers to attain their objectives in accordance with the Business Plan. Fill both a managerial and direct Solution Engineering role to include the following: In support of customer growth and retention, provide technical product advice and demo support during discussions with existing customers. Converse with clients at a detailed technical level regarding our solutions and the platforms upon which they operate. Mange the Solution Engineering Team including:

  • Mentor, train and coach to improve performance
  • Monitor performance and results
  • Participate in the selection of new SEs

  • Make account assignments, allocate responsibilities to support both direct and channel sales and gather feedback on performance from sales people and sales managers
  • Support management in the creation of annual objectives with each SE and perform evaluations against objectives and plan on at least an annual basis

As needed based on workload for the team, manage or directly participate in the following:

  • Work collaboratively with Sales and Channels to ensure that every sales opportunity is most effectively pursued and closed.
  • Team with Customer Development to create a deep and mutually beneficial client relationship and to support their ongoing requirements of products and information.
  • Provide ongoing technical support including leading technology needs discovery sessions.
  • Perform product demonstrations, product seminars and webinars.
  • Contribute to RFI/RFP responses
  • Provide delivery and implementation services and support as necessary.
  • Develop Solution Landscapes (data gathering, analysis, and presentations, comparing prospect or customer needs to capability set of company products) for individual accounts in the region.
  • Perform product evaluations, proofs of concept, and paid pilots for customers to ensure that success criteria and test plans are delivered and product differentiators identified.
  • Provide assistance occasionally as required to sales engineers and channel sales engineers.
  • Promptly respond to and follow up with client queries, meetings, calls, webinars and email.
  • Stay abreast of trends and standards in the IT and security industries to ensure effectiveness and compliance.
  • Attain, retain and further develop knowledge and expertise in our solutions, products and the platforms upon which they reside, and best practices in delivery and implementation services.
  • Attain proficient knowledge of the vertical industry groups we serve as well as the security industry and its regulations, trends, priorities and issues in order to assist PKWARE in creating client credibility and future sales and revenue growth.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers’ technical staff in customers to better understand their needs and upcoming projects.
  • Provide Product Management with customer feedback and suggestions on product features, product performance, alternative solutions, and market trends.

Education/Experience

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) from an accredited four-year college or university preferably in a technical/engineering/business major.
  • Six to ten years experience in technical solution support and sales support in an enterprise software company.
  • Proven track record of developing multi-level IT, Architecture, Operations and Security relationships in Fortune 1000- Global 2000 companies.
  • Proven enterprise software implementation ability especially in enterprise relationship accounts.
  • Ability to service multiple large customers and to build meaningful relationships in pursuit of implementation, retention, satisfaction and growth.
  • At least one year experience in sales/solution engineering outside North America.
  • At least three years of team lead or management experience in a sales/solution engineering role.
